Basic Info

City: Bryan

Details

Lush expanses of emerald grass and big stands of live oak, cypress, and myrtle frame a Clubhouse that would not look out of place in the Loire Valley.  But, a turquoise blue sky and open-handed hospitality confirm that you’re in Texas.

Welcome to Miramont: a club, a community, and a way of life.

Anchored by the top-rated Robert Trent Jones II golf course and magnificent 93,000 square-foot Clubhouse, Miramont’s exclusive neighborhoods offer homes and a lifestyle that is unmatched in the region.

THE VISION

Donald A. Adam, a long-time Bryan resident, banker, and businessman, built Miramont to fulfill a vision he had for his community. That vision was to create a country club of international stature in Bryan, his parents’ hometown and where Mr. Adam built successful business enterprises.

Influenced by his travels, Mr. Adam envisioned a grand Clubhouse of classical design anchoring a world-class golf course.  Framing the course would be beautifully designed, family-friendly
neighborhoods situated on 1000 acres of green, gently rolling landscape.

In 2005, the vision became reality.  Miramont opened its doors, golfers played the extraordinary course, and the neighborhoods began to grow.  Since then, the grand Franco-Italianate Clubhouse and the top-rated Robert Trent Jones II golf course have attracted national attention, hosting high-profile social events, important tournaments, and a growing community of homeowners and club members.

Near Houston and approximately equidistant from Dallas and San Antonio, Miramont is conveniently located for harried urbanites seeking an elegantly appointed, relaxing retreat and refined lifestyle.

THE CLUB

At Miramont, the lifestyle is gracious, the surroundings are elegantly formal, but friendly, and the ambience is warm and inviting.  Unique, lavishly proportioned, and exquisitely detailed, the Club at Miramont stands alone as the premier country club within the area delineated by Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.  Classic European influences are evident from the slate roof to the custom-woven French carpets.  Furnished with Italian, French, and English antiques, the Club projects the easy formality of a fine manor house.

The Club is refined, friendly, and family-oriented, providing a gracious venue for a broad range of events:  a splendid wedding, a fine dinner with dear friends, or a raucous pool party for the kids. The beautiful ballroom, elegant event rooms, and wide gallery overlooking the golf course all lend tradition and panache to any social or business function.  The Club’s fifteen luxury suites offer five-star hospitality to out-of-town guests.

Miramont’s French chef creates delectable meals at Il Portofino and offers more casual fare at the adjacent Grille.  A world-class wine cellar enhances the Club’s gourmet offerings.

AMENITIES

Club amenities are on par with those of the finest resorts.  The men’s locker room replicates the luxurious, but easy-going atmosphere of a traditional British club, with deep leather armchairs, attentive bar service, and sumptuous surroundings.  The ladies’ locker room and lounge is spa-like, with a lovely stone-tiled, walk-in hot tub and fragrant cedar-paneled Scandinavian sauna.  A well-stocked golf and tennis pro shop and state-of-the-art fitness room round out the in-Club athletic facilities.

The Club’s tennis pro presides over eight illuminated courts, providing expert instruction to new players, as well as experienced players wishing to perfect the game.  A lap pool accommodates fitness swimmers, while a resort-style pool provides luxurious lounging and fun for the kids.

THE COURSE

The golf course: where natural beauty and masterful design create an extraordinary golf experience.  Robert Trent Jones, Jr., internationally acclaimed golf course architect, designed Miramont’s championship course to provide a demanding game for the pros, and an enjoyable challenge for amateurs.  The result is a 7,127-yard, 22-hole course that offers great golf for every level of player.

Miramont’s opened the course in 2005, and it has already been named the #10 course in Texas by Golf Digest magazine, placing it in the top tier of elite private courses in the state.
The top-ranked course is enhanced by a nicely stocked pro shop, a teaching facility with state-of-the-art swing analysis technology, a dedicated professional staff, and the handsomest men’s locker room and lounge in the state.

THE COMMUNITY

Welcome home to Miramont, where an array of private neighborhoods offers just the right place for you, whether you have a family to raise in a larger home, want a smaller pied-à-terre to occupy between trips, or simply want to enjoy the luxury of living in a fine home in an elegant, easy-going country club community.

The first thing you’ll notice about the Miramont community is the quality of the architecture — it’s timeless.  Homes are classically designed and exquisitely detailed.  Architectural and building standards are rigorous, assuring that neighborhoods thrive and values increase.  Within the design guidelines individuality is encouraged, creating vital, welcoming neighborhoods that have character, yet share a like spirit of quality and sophistication.

Within this elegant country club community are real, old-fashioned neighborhoods, with sidewalks to walk and bike on, a big playground for all the kids, a creek, ponds, and a lake for fishing or paddling a canoe.  At the heart of the community — in location and in spirit — is the grand, traditional, timelessly beautiful Clubhouse.  A cordial place for neighbors, families, and friends to gather for shared events, from a fairytale wedding to a quiet chess game in the library.
